This year marked the introduction of a Junior Students' Council, allowing students from Grades IV and V to participate in formal leadership roles. The shift from traditional investiture ceremonies, which often focus on pageantry, to a more substantive approach reflects a growing recognition of the importance of leadership preparation in schools. The selection process for council members involved multiple stages, including written assessments, interviews, and peer voting, thereby fostering a culture of accountability and democratic participation among students.

Chief Guest Air Commodore V.T. Parnaik (Retd.) highlighted the relationship between knowledge and character, stressing that leadership should encompass both competence and values. The event culminated in a ceremonial march past and the pinning of badges to the newly elected council members.
