Zoom has unveiled ZoomMate, an AI-powered workplace assistant designed to enhance productivity by integrating with various business applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Google Workspace. Unlike traditional meeting assistants that focus solely on transcribing and summarizing discussions, ZoomMate enables users to search for information across meetings, chats, documents, and customer records from a single interface. It can also automate tasks, including scheduling meetings via Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, updating CRM records, and managing follow-up actions. Additionally, ZoomMate features content generation tools that utilize meeting discussions to create presentations, reports, and other documents, which can be exported to Microsoft Office and Google Workspace formats. Alongside ZoomMate, Zoom launched an AI Productivity Suite that includes tools like Zoom Slides and Zoom Sheets, designed to convert meeting notes into finished products without manual input. ZoomMate is available for $20 per user per month, while the AI Productivity Suite costs $10 per user per month.
