The event was recorded on CCTV, showing the woman walking through a narrow lane when a man approached her and groped her. The footage went viral, prompting local police to act swiftly. Authorities identified the suspect as Naushad, a resident of the Katghar area. After a manhunt, police encountered Naushad, during which he sustained a leg injury. He has since been taken into custody and is receiving treatment at a district hospital. Police spokesperson Ranvijay Singh confirmed that immediate action was taken following the release of the CCTV footage, and further investigations are ongoing.
