Dr. Lal PathLabs, a prominent diagnostics company in India, experienced a 17.87% surge in its stock price, reaching ₹1,612.60 after releasing its Q4 FY26 financial results. The company reported a net profit of ₹132 crore, which reflects a 15.1% decline compared to the same quarter last year. However, revenue showed a positive trend, increasing 16.6% YoY to ₹703 crore. The company's EBITDA for the quarter was ₹187 crore, marking a 10.5% increase YoY, although the EBITDA margin slightly compressed to 26.6% from 28.1% a year earlier. For the fiscal year FY26, Dr. Lal PathLabs recorded a 3.6% increase in net profit to ₹510 crore and a 12.2% rise in revenue to ₹2,763 crore. The board has also approved the acquisition of a 100% stake in Shahbazkers Diagnostic Centre, which will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, and plans to establish a new subsidiary in Dubai to enhance its international presence. The company holds cash and cash equivalents of ₹1,526 crore as of March 31, 2026.
