On May 5, a fatal accident on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway in Nuh district, Haryana, claimed the lives of four Uttar Pradesh Police officers and their driver. The crash occurred around 10:10 AM near the Dhulawat toll plaza when the driver of a black Mahindra Scorpio lost control while trying to overtake another vehicle. Eyewitnesses reported that the SUV collided with another vehicle, resulting in a devastating impact that left the vehicle mangled and all occupants dead at the scene. The deceased officers were identified as Sub-Inspector Mohit Kumar Yadav (32), Sub-Inspector Satyabhan Singh (59), Constable Ashok Kumar (28), and Constable Praveen Kumar (30). They were heading to Punjab to investigate a case. The driver, Amrik Singh (45), was from Sangrur district in Punjab. Police had to extricate the bodies from the wreckage, and a case has been registered regarding the incident.
