'Raja Shivaji,' a Hindi-Marathi film directed by Riteish Deshmukh, had its trailer unveiled in Mumbai. The film features Riteish in the lead role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, alongside his wife Genelia Deshmukh, who is also a co-producer. The star-studded cast includes Sanjay Dutt, who plays the antagonist Afzal Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan, who portrays Shivaji's elder brother. Sanjay Dutt expressed his long-standing friendship with Riteish, stating that he considers him like a younger brother. Vidya Balan, who plays the evil queen Badi Begum, praised Riteish's directorial skills and shared her excitement about her role. Bhagyashree, playing Shivaji's mother, humorously recalled how Genelia was seen feeding Riteish during a busy shoot. The film is co-produced by Riteish and Genelia's Mumbai Film Company and is set to hit theaters on May 1.
