With a seating capacity exceeding 30,000, the stadium only offers parking for 1,585 vehicles, far below the expert recommendation of 3,000 spaces. Many spectators end up parking as far as 2 km away due to underdeveloped parking areas. Traffic congestion is worsened by a lack of adequate road infrastructure, with only one main road serving the area. The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has plans for road upgrades and additional parking, but many projects remain incomplete. Local authorities, including Mohali's Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Navneet Mahal, are coordinating traffic management efforts during events, but the persistent issues continue to frustrate the local community.
