This collaboration with lyricist Rashmi Virag comes after a 10-year hiatus, with their previous works, including the hit songs 'Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon' and 'Bol Do Na Zara,' achieving significant popularity. Amaal expressed his excitement and nervousness about this project, describing it as a dream come true, especially since he has aspired to work with Vishesh Films since he was 16 years old. The song is expected to be released later this year, coinciding with the film's premiere on August 14, 2026. The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and will see Emraan reprising his iconic role as Shivam Pandit. Awarapan 2 is anticipated to compete with the film Lahore 1947, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.
