A violent incident occurred at RJS Fitness Gym in Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh, where three members of a councillor's family were shot dead during a birthday celebration. The altercation began around 11 PM between Jeetu Saini, the gym operator, and Amardeep, the cousin of local councillor Sanjay Saini. The argument escalated, prompting Jeetu to leave the gym and return with a licensed pistol. He shot Amardeep and his brother Manish at close range, while Akash, the councillor's nephew, was shot in the head as he attempted to flee. All three victims died instantly. Panic ensued among party attendees, who took cover as the shooter fled the scene, allegedly removing the CCTV DVR to destroy evidence. Police are investigating the incident, focusing on potential alcohol involvement and political ties, as Jeetu reportedly has connections to the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Authorities have detained over 15 individuals for questioning and are analyzing nearby CCTV footage.
