Toronto police have announced the arrest of four individuals, including two teenagers, linked to two organized shooting incidents that targeted Jewish individuals in North York. The arrests were made following incidents on April 30 and May 7, where shots were fired at victims from a blue Lexus SUV, resulting in minor injuries. Chief Superintendent Katherine Stephenson stated that the evidence indicates a deliberate targeting of the Jewish community, with the incidents being planned and coordinated. The suspects, Luka Chokheli (20) and Alishahin Isayev (23), along with a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, face multiple charges, including assault with a weapon. Investigators revealed that some suspects were involved in both incidents, highlighting a connection through the vehicle used. Police are actively seeking two additional suspects, believed to be youths, as the investigation continues to uncover the organized nature of these attacks.
