JSW Steel reported a staggering 989% year-on-year increase in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the fourth quarter of FY26, reaching ₹16,370 crore, up from ₹1,503 crore in the same period last year. This surge was largely attributed to an extraordinary gain of ₹17,888 crore from the slump sale of its BPSL steel operation. Revenue from operations also saw a significant boost, climbing 14% to ₹51,180 crore, marking the company's highest quarterly revenue to date. The adjusted EBITDA stood at ₹9,713 crore, yielding an EBITDA margin of 19%. Despite rising coking coal costs, the EBITDA increased by 47% compared to the previous quarter. The company also reported a reduction in net debt to ₹53,870 crore, down ₹26,477 crore from the previous quarter, reflecting effective deleveraging and strong cash flow management. Additionally, JSW Steel declared a dividend of ₹7.1 per equity share.
