Rayman Legends, a popular platformer released in 2013, is set to receive a remake titled Rayman Legends Retold, which was announced during the recent Playstation State of Play event. This remake will feature enhanced 3D graphics and a completely new soundtrack. The music will be composed by Grant Kirkhope, renowned for his work on classic games such as Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, alongside Christophe Héral, the original composer of Rayman. Production director Alessandro Arndt Mucchi expressed confidence in Kirkhope's ability to capture the humorous essence of Rayman, while animation director Marco Renso praised Kirkhope's impressive speed in creating high-quality compositions. Renso noted that Kirkhope can produce remarkable music in a remarkably short time, showcasing his talent and efficiency. The collaboration between these seasoned composers is expected to bring a fresh yet nostalgic auditory experience to fans of the franchise.
