Bajaj Auto has officially launched the 2026 Avenger Street 220 in India, priced at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model comes equipped with a 220cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine that delivers 19 horsepower and 17.6 Nm of peak torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Avenger lineup now includes only two models following the discontinuation of the Avenger Street 160: the Avenger Cruise 220 and the new Street 220. The Street 220 features several design and ergonomic changes, including a flatter and lower-set handlebar, and a shorter flyscreen, enhancing its cruiser aesthetics. Notably, it lacks a pillion backrest, differentiating it from the Cruise variant. The motorcycle adopts a blacked-out theme across its engine and exhaust components and is offered in two stylish color options: Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red. Unlike the Cruise 220, which has wire-spoke wheels, the Street 220 is fitted with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, catering to a modern riding experience.
