Madhuri Dixit and director Suresh Triveni recently discussed their upcoming Netflix film 'Maa Behen', a crime-comedy that showcases the importance of collaboration and chemistry among the cast. Dixit emphasized how workshops facilitated a comfortable environment, allowing the actors to bond through improvisational exercises. She stated that creating a relaxed atmosphere is crucial for teamwork, enhancing overall performances. Triveni shared that the concept for 'Maa Behen' was born after his success with 'Tumhari Sulu', aiming to craft a unique crime comedy. The script took years to develop, and upon presenting it to Dixit, she quickly accepted the role, which thrilled Triveni. The casting process also included Triptii Dimri, who was attracted to the project because of Dixit's participation, while Dharna Durgaa was cast based on a recommendation from the writer. The film, featuring a chaotic mother-daughter dynamic, will premiere on Netflix on June 4, with a trailer released on May 22.
