On Sunday, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with Fempreneurs Rising Star, honored 42 remarkable women at the 'Mompreneurs – Matri Shakti Samman 2026' event held at Haryana Lok Bhavan in Chandigarh. This ceremony recognized women who have excelled in various fields, including entrepreneurship, arts, media, sports, education, healthcare, and social service, all while balancing their responsibilities as mothers and community leaders. Among the distinguished awardees were Padma Shri recipients such as Nirmal Rishi, Malini Awasthi, and Shovana Narayan, alongside Arjuna awardee Geeta Phogat and renowned journalist Rubika Liyaquat.
