Santhosh K Nayar, a well-known Malayalam actor, tragically passed away in a road accident in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, on Tuesday morning. His car collided with a van, and his wife is currently hospitalized for treatment. Born on November 12, 1960, in Thiruvananthapuram, Nayar made his film debut in the 1982 movie 'Ithu Njangalude Katha' and went on to feature in over 100 films, gaining fame for his villainous and comedic roles. He had a notable connection with fellow actor Mohanlal, as both attended MG College, where Nayar studied Mathematics. His final film, 'Mohaniyattam,' which premiered on April 10, is currently in theaters and will be available for streaming on Netflix from May 8. Directed by Krishnadas Murali, the film explores the challenges faced by Sasidharan Nair's family.
