The 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) has announced its meeting schedules in Hyderabad, Telangana, from May 18-19, 2026, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, from June 1-4, 2026, and Ladakh on June 8, 2026. Stakeholders, including government organizations and employee unions, are invited to submit memorandums related to pay, pension, and allowances through the official 8th CPC website. The deadline for these submissions has been extended to May 31, 2026. In Hyderabad, stakeholders must submit their memorandums and request appointments before May 8, 2026. In Srinagar, the deadline is May 16, 2026, and for Ladakh, it is also May 16, 2026. The Commission aims to address demands such as a fitment factor of 3.833 and a minimum basic pay of ₹69,000 as proposed by the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (NC-JCM). Additional meetings in other states and Union Territories are expected to be scheduled in the future.
