A chaotic TikTok party at Clapham Common in south London resulted in a stabbing and the arrest of nine individuals on May 22. The Metropolitan Police responded to reports of violence as large crowds gathered for the unsanctioned event. Footage from the scene showed groups of youths fighting, prompting police to disperse the gathering. One teenager was taken to the hospital with knife injuries, which authorities confirmed were not life-threatening. Among those arrested were four males aged 16 to 19, suspected of affray, and two others aged 14 and 16, arrested for grievous bodily harm. Additionally, a 20-year-old and a 15-year-old were detained for carrying a blade. An 18-year-old was arrested for assaulting a police officer. The police are urging witnesses to provide information as they continue their investigation, including reviewing CCTV footage. This incident follows a similar disturbance in April when a large group of youths caused disruptions in Clapham, leading to early closures of local shops.
