Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at an Indian community event in Berlin, asserted that India has maintained a balanced diplomatic stance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaving open the possibility for a more significant role in global conflict resolution, particularly regarding the West Asia crisis. Singh stated that while India has made strides toward peace, the success of these efforts hinges on timing and global conditions. He highlighted India's diplomatic achievements, such as enabling multiple Indian ships to navigate the Strait of Hormuz safely, which he attributed to India's neutral stance in global geopolitics. Singh also acknowledged PM Modi's direct engagement with world leaders, including discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, aimed at fostering dialogue. Additionally, Singh celebrated the 75-year diplomatic relationship between India and Germany, noting that Germany has become India's largest trading partner in Europe, with over 2,000 German companies operating in India. He emphasized the importance of economic ties and collaboration in strengthening bilateral relations.
