Banerjee alleged that the BJP is hiring people to attend their rallies and urged citizens to monitor religious sites and hotels for outsiders. She also referenced the recent polling turnout, attributing it to concerns over the National Register of Citizens (NRC). Additionally, Banerjee criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his lack of action on pollution in the Yamuna River, contrasting it with her government's efforts to maintain the Ganga River despite limited central funding. The second phase of polling in West Bengal is set for April 29.
