On Friday, Lenskart's shares will be in the spotlight as nearly 104.7 crore shares, valued at over ₹51,000 crore (approximately $6.1 billion USD), become eligible for trading following the expiry of a six-month lock-in period. This development does not guarantee immediate selling, as shareholders can now trade their shares freely. Lenskart's stock debuted at ₹390 in November 2022 but initially fell to a record low of ₹355.70. Since then, it rebounded sharply, reaching an all-time high of ₹559.80 in April 2023. However, the stock has since declined by 13%, partly due to a social media backlash regarding its dress code policies, which led the company to apologize and revise its guidelines to embrace religious symbols. In its latest earnings report, Lenskart announced a staggering 6,983% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for Q3 FY26, totaling ₹131.02 crore. The company's revenue also grew by 38% year-on-year to ₹2,308 crore. Lenskart is set to release its Q4 FY26 results on May 20.
