The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, is implementing a new initiative to enhance the experience of its diverse visitors. Trust CEO Vishwa Bhushan announced that trained personnel proficient in multiple languages will be deployed to assist devotees facing communication barriers. To facilitate this, an app-based system has been introduced to collect essential details from visitors, including Aadhaar information. This data will help classify devotees by region and language, ensuring that staff can provide tailored assistance. Bhushan emphasized that there is no need for devotees to download any additional apps, as the system is designed for internal data processing. This initiative, effective from May 1, also aims to improve security by retaining visitor identity information for a limited time. Additionally, the existing provision for local residents to access free darshan through a designated entrance will continue unchanged.
