Operation Sheruwali, a joint anti-terror initiative involving the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has now entered its fourteenth day in the dense forests of Gambhir Mughlan and Dorimal in Rajouri district. Launched following intelligence reports of suspected terrorists in the area, the operation aims to trap these individuals while conducting extensive search efforts. On May 28, heavy firing erupted in the Dorimal forest, prompting security forces to tighten their cordon around the area to prevent militants from escaping. A significant deployment of forces, including reinforcements and logistical support, has been mobilized to establish a robust security perimeter. Despite the challenges posed by the rugged terrain and thick forest cover, security agencies are utilizing all available resources to monitor and neutralize any threats. Officials have stated that operations will persist until the area is completely secured and all security concerns are addressed, maintaining strict surveillance and access control in the region.
