The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a recently formed political outfit, has appointed three spokespersons to strengthen its public presence ahead of an upcoming protest against the perceived failures in India's education system. Saurav Das, an investigative journalist, will serve as the chief spokesperson, while filmmaker Vijeta Dahiya and former McKinsey consultant Ashutosh Ranka will represent the party in media engagements. The CJP, founded by Abhijeet Dipke, announced these appointments through a post on X, emphasizing its commitment to transforming the political dialogue in India through a new generation of leaders. This development comes as the party prepares for a peaceful protest scheduled for June 6, 2023, in Delhi, where they will demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in light of allegations regarding the leak of the NEET examination paper and various lapses within the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Since its launch last month, the CJP has rapidly gained traction, particularly among youth and students, positioning itself as a platform dedicated to addressing educational issues.
