The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to announce the Class 12 results for 2026 soon, as indicated by a newly activated banner on DigiLocker, suggesting that digital marksheets are being prepared. The Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. This year, CBSE implemented an On-Screen Marking system to enhance the efficiency of the evaluation process, aiming to reduce manual errors and expedite result preparation. Students must achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to qualify, with separate passing criteria for practical subjects. Results will be available on the official CBSE websites, DigiLocker, and through SMS services. The announcement is expected to follow the trend of previous years, where results were typically declared in mid-May. The overall pass percentage for the previous year was 88.39%. After the results are declared, CBSE will offer post-result services, including mark verification and re-evaluation requests.
