The Wisconsin women's basketball program, led by head coach Robin Pingeton, has made impactful signings during the transfer portal season by adding Addie Deal and Kadidia Toure to its roster for the 2026-27 season. Addie Deal, a 6-foot guard from Irvine, California, previously played for Iowa, where she was recognized as a five-star recruit and a 2025 McDonald's All-American. In her freshman season, she participated in all 34 games, averaging 5.1 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 rebounds per game. Kadidia Toure, a 6-foot-3 forward, comes from Long Island, where she had an impressive season averaging 19.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. Toure was named the Northeast Conference player of the year and was part of the league’s all-defensive team. The addition of these two players is crucial for Wisconsin as they look to fill the gap left by four players who have entered the transfer portal, including reserves Alie Bisballe and Jovana Spasovski.
