Ina Faye ‘Granny’ Jones Callaway, who lived to the age of 104, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026. Born on March 23, 1922, in Mayodan, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Buford Reed Jones and Ollie Bell Jones. Granny was married to Lyndon Ward ‘Pappy’ Callaway, with whom she established a produce business before transitioning into the mobile home industry, where they operated Pappy’s Mobile Home Park and Sales. Known for her strong faith, she was a devoted member of Maranatha Baptist Church, where her kindness and love for others were evident. Granny's legacy includes her daughter, Linda C. Rorrer, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son and grandson. The family expressed heartfelt thanks to the staff at Babcock Manor for their compassionate care. Visitation took place on May 27 at Puckett Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service led by Pastors Steve Conwell and Larry Janey, with interment at Westview Cemetery.
