Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who had previously held several key portfolios, has redistributed responsibilities among his cabinet. Notably, Bhupendra Chaudhary, the former Uttar Pradesh BJP chief, has been appointed as the minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), taking over this role from Rakesh Sachan, who retains his responsibilities for khadi, village industry, silk, handlooms, and textiles. Another significant appointment is Manoj Kumar Pandey, a former minister from the Samajwadi Party, who now oversees food and civil supplies, a portfolio previously managed by Adityanath. The chief minister has also divested himself of portfolios related to food security, drug administration, Sainik Kalyan, and political pensions, redistributing these to Ajit Singh Pal and Somendra Tomar, who have been elevated to independent charge.
