The Aravalli Cricket Club, located in Hathod, Jaipur, has emerged as a vital pipeline for aspiring cricketers aiming for the Indian Premier League (IPL). Founded in 2001 by former Rajasthan player Vivek Yadav, the academy initially struggled with space and resources but has grown significantly since relocating in 2018. It now features two full-sized cricket grounds, over a dozen nets, and hostel facilities for approximately 300 trainees. The academy has produced notable players like Akash Singh, who played for the Lucknow Super Giants and was part of the Chennai Super Kings' title-winning squad in 2023, and Ashok Sharma, who has made waves with the Gujarat Titans. Following Vivek's passing in 2021, his brother Vikas Yadav has taken over, focusing on nurturing local talent and expanding the academy's reach. The success of its players has led to an influx of trainees, increasing the demand for better facilities and training standards. Vikas remains committed to the academy's mission, hoping to see more players from Aravalli succeed in the IPL.
