National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) reported a 16.6% decrease in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26, amounting to ₹1,722.44 crore, down from ₹2,067.23 crore in the same quarter last year. The decline in profit was attributed to a revenue drop to ₹5,012.82 crore, compared to ₹5,267.83 crore in the previous year. Additionally, total expenses rose to ₹2,898.30 crore, up from ₹2,633.80 crore. In response to these financial results, Nalco's board approved a third interim dividend of ₹2 per equity share, totaling ₹367.33 crore for the fiscal year. The company is also evaluating the financial implications of the New Labour Codes, which came into effect on November 21, 2025, and has provisioned ₹20.30 crore for obligations related to these codes pending further rules.
