In a shocking turn of events, two deaths in Balrampur district, Uttar Pradesh, which were initially attributed to a road accident, have been revealed as a premeditated double murder. The victims, Deepchand alias Chhotu and his friend Manoj, were allegedly strangled to death due to a conspiracy linked to a past relationship involving one of the suspects, Khushboo Verma. Following the incident on Monday, police arrested four individuals, including Khushboo, her husband Anil Kumar, and two relatives, within 24 hours. Balrampur Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar stated that initial reports suggested a road mishap; however, further investigation, including call detail record analysis, indicated foul play. The suspects allegedly lured Deepchand to a secluded area where they attacked him and Manoj before staging their deaths as an accident by placing their bodies near a roadside drain along with a motorcycle. The case has since been reclassified, and the suspects are now facing charges of murder and criminal conspiracy as investigations continue.
