A 12-year-old boy, a Class 8 student at a government senior secondary school in Faridabad, Haryana, India, has alleged that he was sexually assaulted by two of his classmates and a senior student. The incidents reportedly occurred over the past week, prompting the boy's parents to approach the police after he expressed reluctance to attend school due to abdominal pain. Following their complaint, police registered an FIR against the three suspects under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, specifically sections addressing aggravated penetrative sexual assault and abetment. The two classmates have been apprehended, while the identity of the senior student remains unknown. The school principal confirmed that they are cooperating with the investigation and have conducted an internal inquiry, which revealed inconsistencies in the victim's account regarding the timing of the alleged assault. The boy is currently receiving counseling from the Faridabad child welfare committee, which has noted his vulnerable state and medical history, including previous heart surgery.
