Sharma scored an explosive century, marking his second in the IPL, while Heinrich Klaasen's quick-fire innings provided vital support. SRH set a formidable target of 242 runs, and despite a disciplined bowling effort from DC, they could only manage to score 195 runs in response. Patel acknowledged that while his bowlers executed their plans well, the exceptional batting from Sharma left them with limited options.
