The U.S. Naval Academy and Naval Support Activity Annapolis are reopening to the public on Monday after a suspension of visits due to security concerns following the U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Iran. Visitors can enter through gates 1 and 8, but must undergo bag checks and magnetometer screenings. Approved forms of identification include a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, U.S. passport, or enhanced driver’s license from select states. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with valid ID. Gate 1 will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. until October 31, with reduced hours from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. from November 1 to February 28. Gate 8 is restricted to credentialed personnel with a PIN code.
