At the ISSF World Cup Shotgun in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Indian shooters Neeru Dhanda and Vivaan Kapoor secured the bronze medal in the trap mixed team event. They shot 24 out of the first 30 targets in the final, finishing behind the Italian duo of Silvana Stanco and Mauro De Filippis, who claimed silver. Chinese Taipei's Kun-Pi Yang and Wan-Yu Liu won gold with a world record score of 36. In qualification, Neeru and Vivaan scored 143, just two points behind the Italians. Neeru also competed in the women's trap event, finishing seventh after a strong qualification round. This achievement marks India's second medal in the Olympic trap mixed team event since its introduction last year, highlighting the growing prowess of Indian shooters on the international stage.
