On Wednesday, the Gurugram Police, in collaboration with the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) and the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG), demolished several illegally constructed properties associated with criminals. Among these was a dairy farm owned by gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, located in Naharpur Rupa, which occupied 700 square yards of government land and is valued at over ₹30 crore (approximately $3.6 million USD). Chaudhary, currently incarcerated, has 37 criminal cases against him, including murder and extortion. Additionally, a two-storeyed house belonging to drug smuggler Gazepal, built on 100 square yards of MCG land, was also demolished. This property was deemed a result of crime, with Gazepal facing three drug smuggling cases. The third property targeted was a complex of 40 houses illegally constructed on 1500 square yards of HSVP land by Mahender Yadav, who was involved in drug trafficking. This operation underscores the ongoing crackdown on illegal constructions and criminal activities in Gurugram.
