The India A squad, led by Tilak Varma, will participate in a one-day tri-series against Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A, followed by two multi-day matches against Sri Lanka A. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the white-ball series will be held in Dambulla, while the multi-day matches will take place in Galle. Cricket legend Ravichandran Ashwin has expressed his support for Sooryavanshi, emphasizing the importance of exposure to international cricket for young players.
