Austin Lau, an employee at Anthropic, combined his professional skills with personal life to celebrate his marriage in a unique way. Instead of a traditional wedding slideshow, he used Claude Code, an AI tool, to analyze and visualize 12 years of iMessage chats with his wife. The resulting interactive website showcased their relationship history, revealing they exchanged a staggering 161,015 messages and shared 8,602 photos. The analysis highlighted that Lau's wife was the more communicative partner, contributing 57% of the messages. Interestingly, the data showed a peak in communication in 2016, with over 32,000 messages exchanged, coinciding with their college years apart. The analysis also pinpointed a 9 PM spike in messaging activity on Mondays, indicating their routine for catching up and planning their week.
