The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has approved a substantial housing benefits package amounting to Dh1.54 billion for 1,074 Emirati citizens. This initiative, sanctioned by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, includes Dh1.41 billion in housing loans benefiting 929 citizens and Dh123 million in exemptions from loan repayments aimed at 145 senior citizens, retirees, and families of deceased citizens. The announcement comes just before Eid Al Adha, highlighting the leadership's commitment to fostering social stability and addressing the housing needs of citizens. Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA), expressed gratitude for the leadership's dedication to ensuring dignified living conditions for local families. ADHA's Director-General, Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, emphasized the authority's ongoing efforts to enhance housing services in line with the leadership's vision. With this new package, the total housing benefits provided in 2026 have now reached Dh5.76 billion, further reinforcing the support for citizens in Abu Dhabi.
