The Etihad Rail passenger train, recently launched in the UAE, promises an exciting travel experience through the scenic Hajar mountains. This state-of-the-art rail network connects key cities, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah, significantly reducing travel times—57 minutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and 105 minutes to Fujairah. The train can accommodate 400 passengers and reaches speeds of up to 200 km/h. Inside, travelers can choose between Premium and Comfort classes, both equipped with modern amenities such as charging ports and overhead luggage space. The journey features nine tunnels totaling 6.9 kilometers, making it the longest tunnel system in the region. Additionally, passengers will cross the Bithna Bridge, which stands 40 meters high and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Ticketing options will be available online and at the station, with packages to be announced soon.
