On April 19, Fairfield High School's baseball team showcased a remarkable performance, led by brothers Sam and Nathan Lisk, in a 4-1 victory against La Salle during the Reds Futures High School Showcase at Miami University's McKie Field. Sam, a junior right-hander, delivered a complete game, allowing just one run and two hits, while his younger brother Nathan, a sophomore catcher, expertly guided the game from behind the plate. Their strong connection, developed over years of playing together, has been pivotal in the team's success this season. The Indians have improved their record to 8-3, doubling last year's win total of 4-24. Coach Lance Durham noted that the team's emphasis on throwing strikes has kept the defense engaged and contributed to their recent success.
