According to the Buffalo Township Police Department, Pierwsza has been charged with three counts of recklessly endangering another person, one count of disorderly conduct, and one count of causing a catastrophe. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from a domestic dispute, during which Pierwsza threatened his wife, saying, 'If it's over, I'll tear the house down.' Following this, he used the excavator to smash parts of their home, prompting his wife to call 911. The police report indicated that operators could hear screams and the sound of machinery during the call. After the incident, Pierwsza fled the scene but was arrested later that day.
