The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has announced the launch of its first 4-year bachelor's degree program in Digital Science and Business Management, developed in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and industry partners. This innovative program aims to equip students with skills in transformative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science, alongside core management principles like operations and finance. With 70 seats available, the program is priced at approximately ₹6-7 lakh (roughly $7,200 - $8,400 USD) per year. Selection will be based on the Joint Entrance Examinations - Main (JEE-Main) followed by interviews. Additionally, students will have the option to pursue a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) after their bachelor's degree. IIM Mumbai plans to expand its undergraduate offerings, contingent upon upgrading its infrastructure to accommodate more students. The announcement was made during the convocation ceremony for the institute's first MBA batch, which saw 505 graduates this year.
