The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) will launch an extensive anti-encroachment drive in Gurugram, India, targeting sectors 1 to 57 starting April 27. Residents and plot owners are encouraged to voluntarily remove encroachments from internal roads before the drive commences. Dr. Anupama Malik, estate officer-2 of HSVP, announced that five teams will be formed to conduct the operations, with each team assigned specific sectors. The demolition will address illegal structures such as kitchen gardens, private parks, and kiosks that obstruct public roads. The drive will be executed in phases, with specific dates allocated for various sectors, culminating on July 1. Additionally, a survey will be conducted to identify properties with encroachments on stilt floors, with notices issued to property owners found in violation of occupation certificate conditions.
