Wilson, who won her fourth MVP last season, was also acknowledged for her defensive prowess and leadership, receiving votes as the league's top defender (53%) and best leader (79%). The Aces, last season's champions, were favored to win again in 2026 with 40% of the votes, followed by the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream. Other notable mentions included Chelsea Gray, who was recognized as the best passer and most trusted player for winning shots. The survey also highlighted Minnesota Lynx's Cheryl Reeve as the best head coach, while Olivia Miles, the No. 2 draft pick, was favored for Rookie of the Year with 73% of the votes. The WNBA is set to kick off its 30th season on Friday.
