Samson Mow, a veteran in the cryptocurrency space, has projected that Michael Saylor, the Chair of Strategy Inc., could potentially overtake Elon Musk as the world's richest individual if Bitcoin (BTC) reaches around $4.2 million per coin. Mow's analysis indicates that Saylor's effective exposure to Bitcoin totals approximately 98,800 BTC, which includes his personal holdings of 17,732 BTC and a 9.9% stake in Strategy Inc., which owns 818,869 BTC. To surpass Musk's estimated wealth of $839 billion, Saylor's total Bitcoin holdings would need to be valued at about $850 billion. However, this projection has faced skepticism. Analysts like Willy Woo have pointed out that Mow's calculations do not factor in Musk's potential future earnings from ambitious projects, such as SpaceX's market debut and Tesla's own Bitcoin holdings, which amount to 11,509 BTC. Mow acknowledged these omissions but maintained that his hypothesis remains valid, even without considering any additional Bitcoin purchases by Strategy Inc. As of now, Strategy's shares have seen slight fluctuations, closing at $186.97 after a 5.02% increase during regular trading.
