The Agbelebu Solidarity Forum, a political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agege, Lagos State, has urged the party's National Working Committee (NWC) to dismiss a petition filed by Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi regarding the Agege Constituency I House of Assembly primary election. The forum, led by director general Jamiu Ademosu, described the petition as lacking merit and violating party procedures, asserting that it distorts facts and could create division within the party. They emphasized that only authorized party organs can declare election results, and called for unity among party members to avoid further discord. The forum also challenged the accuracy of voting figures, claiming evidence contradicts the numbers circulated by those contesting the primary's outcome. They intend to provide documentary and video evidence to support their claims when necessary. The forum expressed confidence in the APC leadership and called for the NWC to focus on preserving party unity and integrity. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has previously emphasized the importance of unity and discipline during the party's primary elections.
