Prime Video has officially released the trailer for Vought Rising, a prequel to the popular series The Boys, which is set to premiere in 2027. The show takes place in 1950s New York and focuses on the early years of the Supes-making corporation, featuring key characters like Soldier Boy (played by Jensen Ackles) and Stormfront (played by Aya Cash). The trailer hints at their backstory and the origins of the Supes, introducing new characters such as Private Angel, Torpedo, and Bombsight. The series aims to explore uncharted territory within the franchise, with Eric Kripke serving as the executive producer alongside showrunner Paul Grellong. Kripke has indicated that while season 1 will have a satisfying conclusion, it leaves room for further adventures, potentially leading to a second season.
