Pakistan Announce Squad For 2026 Women's T20 World Cup

Fatima Sana will continue to lead Pakistan at the next month’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales, where five players are in line to make their tournament debut. The selectors on Saturday named a 15-member squad that will also compete in a tri-nation T20I series in Ireland ahead of the World Cup. The West Indies are the third side in the series. Eyman Fatima, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rubab are all set for their first Women’s T20 World Cup appearance. Pakistan will begin their campaign against India women’s national cricket team on June 14 in Birmingham. The tri-series is scheduled to take place in Dublin from May 28 to June 4. Pakistan will then play warm-up matches against Sri Lanka women’s national cricket team on June 6 and Scotland women’s national cricket team on June 9 before the start of the 12-team tournament.
