The Los Angeles Police Department is actively searching for four-year-old Daleza Fregoso, who was allegedly abducted by 44-year-old Ruben Fregoso, identified as a person of interest in the violent death of Daleza's mother. Police discovered the deceased woman during a welfare check on Monday in the West Adams neighborhood, indicating she died from violent circumstances. An Amber Alert was issued shortly after Daleza was reported missing, stating that she and Ruben were last seen early Sunday morning near Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street. Authorities have located the vehicle associated with the abduction, a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery SUV, but both Ruben and Daleza remain missing. Daleza is described as 3 feet tall and weighing 45 pounds, while Ruben is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds. The LAPD has urged anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
